Lots of promises over the phone but lacked follow through.
I wouldn't even give this place one star! My family and I go to dale hollow twice a year. We usually rent from Holly Creek but they were booked so we reserved a boat here. We got there at 9am.. Guess what time we got on our boat.... 12:09!! Our family had drove hours to meet here. Everything was bought and paid for over the phone 2 weeks prior to put rental day. So by 11:00 I asked if I could just get a refund and I'd go on down to the next marina. They wouldn't. The young girl with the blonde hair EXTREMELY rude and should NOT be in customer service. But then once we finally got on our boat. We didn't get reimbursed for the time that was spent waiting for them to get it together but to find out when we got back that we also had to pay for oil that the boat used, also the gas gage did not work and said it was on empty the whole time their idea was for us to open the tank and keep checking it and our "waterside" didn't have the water hooked up. We asked the dock guy and he said "huh I don't know waterside had water that went down them" wow.. So needless to say I wasted a lot of money and we will NEVER go back to this place.
We do love Dale Hollow Lake but will search for another marina.
This is a great marina that is a customer first based business!!!There motto is customer's first because with out the customers there is no marina!!! Most definitely the best marina on Dale Hollow Lake!!!!
Boat was switched Day of checking, went from 135 hp to 90hp. The boat was not ready. We were given a boat that was not cleaned from previous night. Took almost 2 hours to checkin. The grill was not hooked up and we had to request items like propane and - lighter. We were given a bucket to use to wet the slide because the water pump did not work.
Rented a 24 foot pontoon with a 60 hp, at least that's what I was told. When I arrived, I was given a 26 ft with a 50 hp. When I made reservations, I told the gal that I was bringing someone that has never seen the beauty of Dale Hollow Lake. Needless to say, not much lake seeing with a JUNK boat that barely goes 5mph. The check in lady had no clue what she was doing, I think she was in training, but the gal training her kept walking off. Check in time was too long. Won't be back
Been going to Hendricks and Dale Hollow for 20+ years with college buddies and friends. Prices are very affordable, everyone's always been friendly. There are marina's with newer equipment, generally they charge more. This past weekend we rented two of their biggest boats and a pontoon. The trip was great, as always. We did have a few problems with mechanicals, including on our way back in. One of the lead dock hands jumped up to help us (on his day off) as he happened to be close by. When we got back Pat came by as always to check and see how our trip was. When she heard about the difficulty she made it right without our asking. That kind of attitude and great service is why we keep coming back to Hendricks.
